To narrow or not to narrow

As my build is progressing I am constantly thinking about traction.
A supercharged 6.0 with 255/65/16 tires is certainly a recipe for disaster!
Being that the truck is a step side that is all the tire I can fit under it, I certainly don't want to tub the truck out, but I am considering some midifications to the frame and bed to be able to squeeze some more tire under it. I'd like to see some pictures of "mini" tubbed trucks or trucks modified to fit a wider tire!

What do you guys think?
