Side AC Vents with Factory AC - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I saw a couple of threads about installing side air vents in addition to the center vents. They were using an aftermarket AC system. I would like to install the side vents with my factory AC system.

From what I can remember, years ago when the AC was working on my truck the airflow out of the center vents didn't seem all that great. This was after resealing the box too. Adding two more vents would affect the flow even more, but I need to determine just how much.

Has anybody tried this?
