Best Way to Remove Complete Heater & A/C for Repair
Working thru different issues and making a plan towards getting this 1967 Chevy C20 heater and air working again.
* Since I am having to replace wiring harness (fuse panel was rusty beyond cleaning, etc., from a poor windshield install); trying to take care of heater and start on A/C too. NOT SO EASY from what I read you have to remove passenger side hood hinge and loosen inner fender. Really? Live in New Orleans area, so need good defroster even on humid summer mornings. And A/C is a good thing here too. ALL ducting was removed and provided in a box with other parts from 2nd Owner of the "bar find." But that is not complete so ... one thing at a time. First I need to remove heater and A/C to see if any other parts need to be replaced so I can start getting this truck back on the road. Thanks for any assistance in advance. R/ DJ |
