Excellent! Thanks for taking the time to let us know the resolution. These threads are a later resource for people searching on their problems, and without a resolution, they don't help.

You should still set your timing to at least 12* BTDC, and move your vacuum advance line to a manifold vacuum port. More ponies.

More ponies is good.
