Ron,

No more pictures yet. I'm about 99% certain you're right, the vin will be 0c not 0k. Otherwise there wouldn't have been a purpose in the swap I think.

I went through the 60-66 Chevy/GMC assembly manual looking for clues, but it doesn't even mention the 305, so I don't have any information about Chevy vs GMC differences I'm afraid.

When someone swaps a 283 for a 305 do you know if they have to change the bell housing?

I think if the title is 2wd I will take a pass since the truck would always be a Frankenstein. If it is 4wd, I think I have the parts in my barn to make it a full Chevy.
