68 327 new starter question!

Ok I have done some reading and searching on the forum and I would like to replace my starter on my 68 327 3 speed. It starts cold but not warm.
I have read on the high torque corvette starter and the gear reduction torque starter but my question is with my original motor and tranny set up the starter is a front mount and not a top/bottom bolt. Is there a starter I can buy to give me more torque? Or is my block drilled out for the torque/top mount starter vs the front flange style? I would love to pick it up on the way home.
Thanks
Chad
