Finding a Good Engine Ground
As the title states.. need to find a good engine ground.. hooking up a MSD 6AL w/ rev limiter box, and the harness says it needs a ground coming from the middle of three prongs on the distributor going to a 'engine ground'. Whats a good place for this?
I have a Edelbrock Performer RPM intake (aluminum), and a Holley 750 on top of it. Would a carb stud be okay? I was told aluminum doesnt ground well. I was also thinking putting it on the alternator bracket. Would a bracket work? 1984 K30 454. Stock HEI, plus the mentioned box.
