Saved one from the crusher - an interesting survey of my 1965 LWBFS BBW C10
Guys and gals,
Please don't turn this thread into a request for parts. The mods will lock it if that happens. I bought this knowing it could not be saved. Plenty of good stuff inside since it was a Custom truck. I am having fun exploring the areas of this thing and making several unexpected discoveries. Here they are in no particular order. Custom steering wheel stainless windshield trim snake skin woven inside the springs of the seat back The door glass has the metal edge (I thought that ended in 1963) V8 engine codes out to be a 307ci but seller said it was a 327ci Rochester 2 JET carb kite string holding up spark plug wires Wire nuts under the hood gun rack (was this a dealer add on item or factory?) original seat fabric on seat back dented aluminum grille sail panels EVERY piece of sheet metal, bumpers, doors, etc. is damaged except the DS fender. factory front anti-sway bar. Dash deluxe knobs? I hope you enjoy the pics. I will be selling items on eBay at some point so this old girl can live on.
