292 Carb, Intake and headers

I've started rebuilding my 292 L6 in my c10 and was wondering what the best setup as far as carb, intake and headers is. I was planning on going 4bbl and was wondering if I could use a quadrajet carb as I have a few lying around. I'm planning on a set of headers and I don't care about high horsepower as this is just going to be a driver truck. Can anyone tell me if the quadrajet carb will work with an offenhauser 4bbl intake found on summit racing's website.
