Found me a beater

Been looking for awhile well, a little over 2 years to be more exact because it had to be a beater price, NBS with no body rust, a 2wheel drive with a 5.3 and an ext cab. Scored this 99LS1500 back in July for $850.00 with a fresh rebuilt 4L60E on a pallet still wrapped in plastic from the shipper. Long story short, the truck was a Arkansas truck owned by a GI now stationed here in MD. It has over 300K on it's 2nd engine and runs perfect but the trans started slipping 30 mins after driving. So he ordered a rebuilt trans and later decides to buy a newer Chevy SS Quad Cab Pickup and sells me his 99 Silverado throwing the rebuilt tranny in the deal for free. The exterior has a few bumps and bruises with 4-5 spots of clear coat peel on the hood & roof but the interior is near perfect with the 2003 radio bucket & dash bezel upgrade. I'm a NBS fan and love to wrench so this deal was perfect for me. No big plans for mods just planning to keep her stock and add some duals but that will be after I install the rebuilt trans, with a new T.C., Trans Cooler and a few more minor parts.
