New Short Box Sides

Whats the consensus on the reproduction bed sides for the short boxes? Ive seen a few threads talking about purchasing them, but I don't recall seeing anything about how people like them. The prices seem pretty reasonable. Is it making the value of a decent OEM short box taper off some? Why buy a bed that's going to take a ton of time and possibly materials to make it right if the new sides are nice.

I have a 67 long box bed Ive been saving because its a good candidate for shortening. I believe the wheel openings on 67's match the short box openings. I also have a couple of complete short boxes, not perfect, just decent. Just wondering when its ok to jettison this stuff (nothing for sale, this isn't a fishing trip to sell stuff). Same thing for the other large parts ... are they getting better?
