New guy needed some advice!
What's up guys, i'm going to try to make this short as possible lol. I am new to the forum but not to squarebodys. I have had an 83 K10 for about 10 years now, lifted, 35's, built 350 all the goodys. Well unfortunently I wrecked it a couple weeks ago so I went another complete style and bought an 86 c10. I got a steal on it and have cleaned it up real nice, it has a goodwrench 350 crate in it and 700r4 (which I love so far coming from a lifted th350). I put a set of camaro ss wheels on it and ditched the flashy wheels it had. Now its time to fix the lowering aspect, it rides AWFUL. The front has cut/heated stock springs and the back has all but two leafs removed and so far thats all i know how it is lowered. I need some feedback as to how to properly lower it without completely killing the bank. The front wheels have terrible negative camber also wearing out the tires and alignment up. From what I have read what I plan on doing is replacing the front springs with either stock ones, or lowering springs along with drop spindles of some sort. 2in or 3in. And as for the rear I will be replacing the leafs with the set off of my wrecked k10 if they fit or buy some new ones if not and a flip kit. I would like to keep the truck at the height maybe somewhat lower, but I have to fix the buggy riding. If anyone has any input on if im in the ballpark for keeping it lowered but keeping somewhat a better ride please let me know or opinions on what I should do! Any help is appreciated!
