recommended drop

A lot of folks say they have a 4/6 drop or 3/5 drop, but almost nobody posts if that is with a 2.5" spindle drop and 1.5" spring drop or 1" spring drop. I am looking to drop the ride with spindles 2.5" and then a little further with springs.
I want to drop the truck with the spindles 2.5" and another 1" or so with springs, 5" drop in the rear, while riding on big wide 18 or 19" rims.
I added a photo of the truck but it seems like they torched the springs before me and I have no idea ride-height wise where I am at now. I want an auto-x handling ride for my city/country driving yet can still haul a payload for those projects.
Thanks in advance from the good old SF
