quadrajet?
i have lately been wanting to go with a quadrajet carb on my 82 k10 and the only two carbs that i have found are the Edelbrock Quadrajets and the ones made by Jet. right now i am just running a 1405 edelbrock, but i have always loved the way that the secondarys on the q-jet feel when they kick in, and also i can tune the edelbrock to make my truck run not to rich or too lean but as far as making it perform better to what i like, none of the rod and spring changes seem to change anything. so therefore i want to go back to a q-jet, and it seems from what i read that u are the only other person that likes them. i guess what i am asking is if of the two q-jets above, would one be better than the other, and do they have adjustable idle mixture screws, or are they plugged off like some of the factory q-jets. sorry for the long post
thanks to anyone with some info for me.
