Season's Over....time for storage...soon.
Well, all good things must come to an end.
Around here that means the end to my yearly 'road' insurance which is a 6 month stint for me. Now, that said....that means its time to start prepping the 'ol '72 for a N.West winter which means wet and damp....same old, same old. Usually that means no snow...but like Seattle and the U.S/PNW, we get a boatload of rain, moisture and dampness for months on end. So that will mean about 3-4 cans of Rustcheck and a good 3-4 hr stint under the truck, under the hood, in the box, in the cab.....filling 'er up with that wonder drug. I will be removing all the little access caps and ensuring I get that stuff in there nice and thick.....then it will undoubtedly be time for a good long shower...lol. That way when I spark it up in the spring....at the very least I know that the body is as I left it.....and being a big time hater of the tin worm, I wouldn't have it any other way. How about you guys.....what is your storage strategy to ensure you don't suffer from the seasonal rust blues.... All Good Coley
