Faulty flex line in CPP disc brake kit

Ok, so after a few months of my rig being out at my father in laws house, doing the full front drop spindle, disc brake conversion, the only thing holding me back from being roadworthy is the passenger side flex line leaking. We couldn't bleed the front brakes because there was no vacuum from air getting in. Put the compressor to the front steel line off the prop valve. And heard the air coming out of the banjo fitting on the line.. measuring it with the micrometer, it is about .010 difference, making it slanted and not a good bite, even in the copper washers, you can see it's not fully seated.. summit says they're back ordered and i cant get a replacement until end of December..

My question is, can i just run a fatter copper washer? Or sonce the fitting is most likely jacked, do i have to wait for the replacement?? I just want to drive my baby since its been almost 8 months thanks for the help guys!
