measure e-brake cable on Corp 14BFF
Can anyone do me a huge favor and measure their emergency brake cables on the back of their Corp 14BFF?
I put a '75 Corp 14BFF from a blazer under my '72 longbed. I know that with the lift the cables will be too short to hook up to the original spot, but it appears to be way too short. I plan on just making a drop bracket, but man, it looks as though this bracket will have to be a couple feet long, not axactly cool looking So, I am wondering if someone can run a tape measure from the back of the drum up to the bracket it attaches to on the frame on their longbed pickup. I have the cables from the blazer and am just checking to see if the ones for a longbed are longer than the blazer's in that area. Inlinetube wasn't any help, they just wanted to sell me custom cables with a ballpark figure of $200. I dunno, $200+ for new rear cables or Free blocks of wood from the backyard Thanks for getting under the truck for me!
