BBC 454 safe boring min.

Hello guys.

On my BBC Mark IV 454 I have just pulled the pistons and crank (and everything else )to get it Hot Tanked. I noticed the cylinders had a noticeable lip, enough to noticeably feel with a finger (.003 or so, so .006 minimum overall). I would like to get them bored to clean this up. Is there a safe bore .010 or around there that I can safely use the stock pistons? Or should I just be safe, go .030 and buy new pistons? I would love to just go stroker kit, but am thinking that would be pretty costly and I don't have a ton of cash to do this.

I don't have access to a bore mic, but I will be getting it tanked this week and the engine builder said he would check it for runout. I just wanted to be armed with info (first time doing this) and not pay for more than I need.

Thanks!!
