I found another place that specializes in GM columns and sent them an email on the bearings. With as many as these things are rebuilt, I can't believe this isn't "common knowledge".
What about packaging all your parts up and sending them to KevsClassics? I know it would be a bit like giving up and i Know you are a pretty big do it yourself guy. But Kevin is just about the best in the business and you would end up with a GM column thats very safe.
