Disc brakes??????????'s

I am thinking about adding disc brakes to the front of the ramp truck.

Does anybody know if a later model truck disc brake system will work?

I ran across this on another forum and it's got me thinking!

I'm 99% sure that any 1971-91 8 lug 2WD C series (1987-91 R series) disc spindle will bolt right up. As for disc brake master cylinder/booster/proporti oning valve; I'd go with a 1971-72 setup.

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
