Brake line size?

I'm building a 63 c20 with early classic 3/4 to 1/2 ton conversion spindles and a 71 trailing arm rear end. I'm usin 1971 factory discs up front and the cadillac calipers on the rear. I was planning on using 1971 c10 brake hoses front and rear with 3/16" brake line, but the rear hose has 1/4" fittings? The calipers have hoses that came with and they end with 3/16" as well. I went from 4 wheel drums to this, so I don't have much to go off of... should I use adapters to go to 3/16" line or should it be 1/4" all the way from the master cylinder? I should note that I am using a manual corvette 4 wheel disc master and proportioning valve. The rear port is a bigger size fitting, but I have an adapter for 3/16"... Any ideas?
