Cab support replacement ??

So i am finally ready to bite the bullet and replace my cab supports/bushings and sections of floor that need it. They are way far gone. My question is if anyone has ever attempted to replace these while NOT fully removing the cab from the frame. I would like to support the cab from the rockers with jackstands on 4 corners with some continuous support after i lift it up only about an inch or so off the frame/mounts. I will have the front end sheet metal off but the rest of the cab is in decent shape so i dont want to fully blow the truck apart (again). I am pretty crafty and do most work alone.

Thanks in advance for ideas and suggestions!
