Would a 750cfm work fine with my motor?

I'm thinking about ditching my little Holley 600 and either getting an Edelbrock 750 or a Jet Quadrajet. My only question is, how well with the 750 work with my MILD 355? I'm planning on swapping to a Vortec/XE274/RPM Air Gap soon, but for now, my MILD 355 will have to do.
