Rebuilding Tilt Column question

So, I am doing everything in this build except for the Body/Paint work and the differential gear set up.

I am trying to go through the Tilt Column. I have searched and read all of the posts concerning rebuilding them.

My question is besides the special puller used to remove the Housing Cover(J-22708, which is no longer available), what other types of pullers has everyone used with success without damaging the housing?

Found out the tool is also J-22598.

Have you fabricated your own?If so, can you post any pics?

Thanks
