1986 Chevy C10

I need some help from the GURUS in here. We just rebuilt a sbc 350 with Comp Cam 268. Everything else is stock on the motor with the exception of the intake, Edelbrock Performer. Installed it, starts great, runs great in Park but has a hesitation when taking off in gear. We adjusted the idle on Carb and adjusted the Timing as well. We just can't figure out the hesitation. Also, we had the Holley rebuilt over a month ago prior to the rebuild. We have replaced the Cap, rotor, coil and wires so far. Only things lacking is the Carb and spark plugs. We're thinking of trying out a used Dizzy to see the difference. Any help at this point would be helpful. . . . . . . .
