90's seat install
I installed a 90's model bench seat in the old Ramp Rat truck yesterday and just wanted to share some info with everyone who may be thinking about this mod.
The seat fits almost perfect in the truck with just a little bit of modifing. I really like they way they sit too! First you need to set the seat in the truck and then loosen the 4-5/8" head bolts in the front frame of the seat. This will let the seat frame match the holes in the truck floor board. Put the bolts in and tighten them to mark the rear frame holes. This insures the seat is good and straight when mounted. I also used 2 big nuts on each back hole to raise the seat up and make it sit better. For me anyways.
