Talking Clear fuel bowl sight plugs for Holley Carbs

Hello everyone!
Just thought I'd bring this up in case no one else has ever had this happen to them.
I was working on my truck the other day trying to find out why my truck reeks of Gas after I shut it off....the first thing I thought was, I had a fuel pump diaphragm leaking. Well it wasn't so I had another Holley 700 that I had rebuilt and decided to swap carbs.....well, after removing the air cleaner and removing the fuel line from the carb, I noticed that my clear sight plugs had "Melted" so who knows how long raw fuel has been leaking on my hot engine.....talk about Devine intervention.....I thought the carb was flooding or float sticking. Anyway, glad I caught it before I had a bonfire!
Ben
