Car Show Season

I recently restore a 1970 K-10 back to completely original condition. Other than a very few subtle items that most people who don't know these trucks will even notice. My question is how hard is it for us guys who like to stay 100% period correct to compete with the guys that chose to go with bling and fancy wheels? I have nothing against the one that chose to go that route for there isn't one I wouldn't have in my garage. I'd just like to have some input on how to stand out since this will be the first season I have ever competed in with this truck. Thanks.
