Dropped siphon tube into tank

Well, I finally got the old gas out of my 71 K5. As I was finishing up, I pulled the tube out of the tank and the small end pulled apart and fell into the tank. I shared some words with the pump (and myself for not being smarter than a $7 pump).

It's beyond reach in the neck, even after disconnecting fill tube directly at tank

Do I fret about this or just forget about it? It's a multi-use pump safe for fuel, so I don't believe it'll disintegrate. My fear is it could block the pump/send or maybe impact my ability to fill. I guess I could fill and find out, but what would YOU do?

I am making some progress
