Tranny / tcase problem

So I have a TH350 with the 205 case and the side bracket is there and rubber is worn out on side mount. I replaced the transmission with a new TH350, installed new energy suspension mounts to the crossmember and put the side bracket back. should I remove the side bracket? can the adapter plate hold the transfer case? Really? remove the side bracket or get new rubber for it? my 4x4 is mainly a street wheeler and never got off road
