K30 CC 15-20mpg?

hey guys,

I'm looking into purchasing a crew cab k30. It'll be my daily driver so I'm wondering if there is any way to get 15-20 mpg. I know that it'll never happen on a 454 so I'm thinking either a 6.2l diesel or a Cummins swap. Probably going to run Dana 60s, 35 bf goodrich allterains and a 3 inch body or shackle flip, with an np205.
I won't do much for towing besides small trailers less than 100 miles so I don't really need a 454. So what else could I do to enhance mileage and what are you getting with your build? if it makes any difference I may throw a flat bed on it.
