This kicks A$$...........Not
JUst got done tonight with suspension overhaul, front and rear. Original springs were worn out real bad. Decided I wanted a higher stance like a 3/4 ton, plus the added benefits of more load handling. I use as a work truck haul rock, lumber etc. you get the picture. Rear springs are fine, good stance nice and stiff, just what I wanted, measures 34 and3/8" from the ground.
The front is another story. Iput the new springs in and it is lower than I expected. It measures out at 31 and1/2". I was thinking I would be close to 34 inches since I put in heavy duty front springs and truck has 350. So I was told I would get a 2" liftfrom the heavy duty big block springs. Didn't happen. Originally I wanted 3/4 ton frontr springs but sales rep said they wouldn't fit. Do I have crappy springs? Can I put 3/4 ton HD up front for the 2" lift I want? All that work over again. It'll go quicker this time. Sorry so long. BTW its a half ton with 350,2WD, coil spring. Thanks in advance. ------------------ 71 C-10 custom Deluxe
