'70 ECS Fuel Tank Vent Question (filler neck)

I have a 1970 C10 with ECS fuel tank. I'm hooking up the entire ECS system to include canister and vacuum lines.

At the filler neck I have a vent line. There is another vent line on the top drivers side of the tank and a third vent line on the driver's side cab wall that goes up and over to the passenger side. The two attachments show different connection methods.

Q. Should the vent line from the filler neck to the tank top vent line (drivers side) be T'd off to connect also to the vent line that goes up and over?
