Wood rot
Well, I just emptied the bed out, (those one ton disc spindle/A arm assmeblies are HEAVY!!!!)
I knew the wood was rotted a little, when i crawled under in PA, I saw a little green sheet metal visable. Well, I pulled up the metal from under the plastic liner, and it was a freeway EXIT sign. I was LOL so hard, i split the wood and fell through. Man my leg hurts now. I've never seen such rotted wood in my life. Oh well, I have a mess to clean up now, thought I'd share the tech tip in there. FREEWAY EXIT SIGNS MAKE GOOD BED FLOORS!!! ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350.
