auto-manual
Have a couple questions concerning electrical connections in the subject swap.
Background, I put a 1970 auto cab on a 1971 manual chassis. I swapped the auto steering column for a 1970 manual column. Of course i was unable to hook up the two connectors (neu. sfty and back-up) on the column. What do I need to do with these two connectors? I already shorted the neu sfty connector. But what about the back-up connector? I'm also having problems with the function column items: Hazards work, turn signals do not. Horn does not work but have ground under button. Dash lights work, headlights, high beans work front side marker lights work. Parking lights not connected. rear wiring harness cut before rear cross member. Any insight?
