Power steering

I know this has been beaten to death on here but I haven't seen many other solutions to putting a newer style (1985 or so) power steering box on a non dimpled 67 2wd frame. The frame is already coated so heating and dumpling with a bfh are out of the question for me. Anyone have any ill side effects of using spacers? And is there any reason we couldn't use the brackets many vendors sell for the 60-66 trucks to space the box off the frame? Any pics of solutions or advice would be awesome. Thanks!
