Front Brake Hose Routing Question
I have an '87 suspension swap on my '68 C10. It has a McGaughys 2.5" Drop Spindle Brake Kit for an '87 that came complete with brake hoses.
My problem is that the brake hoses supplied are about 1.5" too short of I run them across the top of the A-Arms and down to the caliper. If I run the hoses UNDER the A-Arm at the upper ball joint they will reach, but then they are not "keyed" into that notch in the caliper. If I tighten the hose fittings really well, can I run the hoses that way? Or, is it absolutely necessary that they are "keyed" into the notch? Thanks guys, POP
