Question Power steering pump mounting bracket?

I recently acquired a complete power steering set up, to include the gearbox, hoses and pump, from a 71 C-10.
The one item I didn't get is the bracket that bolts the pump to the engine, and has the adjuster on it.
Is there a certain type of bracket I need?
The one I have on my truck is cast iron, but I've been unable to find another like it for this spare unit.
Can just get a bracket off another SBC to work correctly?
And will I need the '71 center link for the steering to work right, if I put it on a truck from 67-70? I can get it, so it's not a problem.
