205 4wd Pivot bolt

Hey guys! First of all, I know its been a while since I got this bolt but I am just now getting around to installing it.....LOL.

This is also an extension of THIS discussion but I did not want to continue it in the "for-sale" section of the forum.

I was doing a few odds and ends today and decided to slide under and install this bolt to get the rattle out of the 4wd shifter arm. Unfortunately it looks like I have the wrong bolt (I think). The one that came out was a 7/16" or 1/2" diameter bolt and the new one is like 11/16" or 3/4". There was a bushing and a metal sleeve on the shifter arm as mentioned in the other thread and I can remove them no problem so the new bolt will slide in. The issue is the casing is tapped for the 7/16" bolt and not the 3/4". Am I missing something or do I have the wrong bolt? Thanks for the help!
