Stock and big power - What's going to break next?

Hi guys!

My dad and I have been working together on our trucks for a few years. I have a '66 C10, and he has a '64 K10 Stepside.

Recently he finished up swapping a bowtie specialties 350, which has been built and bored out to a 355. It makes somewhere in the neighborhood of 375-400 horsepower.
The rest of his truck is essentially stock.
The big question is, can the other components (transmission and rear end) handle the power? Obviously brakes and whatnot should be upgraded, but just trying to find out what else we need to add to the list.

Additionally:
My truck has a TKO500. I love it, it's awesome. We were talking about the idea of upgrading his transmission to a TKO500 or TKO600, but I don't know if it being 4x4 would allow for that transmission or not. Can a TKO be hooked up to a transfer case?

Thanks guys!
