Hardware Inventory for Moldings on a 69-72 Fleetside
I spent WAY too much time on this. First I had to list & ID what was in the assembly manual. Then ID what was applicable to my truck. Then check my parts to be sure I don't need anything. At least I had an assm. manual index to begin with, thanks to a few of our posters.
At the "end of the day" I confirmed that yeah, I do have all the parts. It wasn't a completely wasted effort by any means, because according to my inventory, which I'm pretty sure is factory correct as opposed consistent with the assembly manual, I have fewer holes to drill than I might have had I not checked the parts. The image explains why. Say, anyone comprehend page 662 in the assembly manual (Red highlight, image below)? Some of the measurements differ as compared to pages 660-661. Doesn't make sense, I'm missing something. ![]()
