1974 C10 Power Steering Pump Crooked

Hello everyone.

I bought a new power steering pump core and installed it in the original pump housing from my truck. I had the engine bay all torn up recently to paint the motor and clean up the engine bay. The truck has headers, but the previous owner accommodated the stock brackets for the power steering pump. To be honest, I don't remember if the belt was miss aligned when the engine was together. It ran briefly but I don't remember. I installed it tonight and it is much further forward then it should be, and sits crooked to one side. I tried spacing it by adding washer between the pump face and the left bracket, but that only made it worse. Are there spacers that are supposed to go in the brackets somewhere? Has anyone had this problem? It can't be the water pump shaft because the crank pulley and water pump pulley line up perfectly. Just the power steering pulley is off. Hopefully these pictures explain the problem.

Thanks
