1965 c10 z frame help!?

Hey guys in the process of doing my very first z front frame. Now i have serched all the forum and see great write ups. But one thing im confused on is the angle some guys do 20 degrees some do straight cuts. I m only doing. A 2.5 in just to save for clearence. But if i do a 20 degree that will add some travel correct? And i will have to think about driveshaft and other things. I think straight cut is the safest but please help me!
