1970 C30 dually bed options

Hi everyeone, I'm looking into buying a 1970 C30 dually. Currently it doesn't have a bed of any kind (just the frame), and I'm thinking of what bed to put on it, and if the options differ from other trucks of the era.

Not sure how dumb this sounds, but I kind of want to get a C10 stepside bed for it (no fenders, obviously). Would it fit on the frame, and use the same mounting setup as on a C10?

Other options are an M101 trailer turned into a bed, or just bolting a lockable toolbox across the frame and calling it quits.
