Step Bumper Rubber Trim
Howdy,
I've been lurking in the shadows here for a couple of years, and I've used this site as a great source of inspiration and information while resurrecting my '65. However, I've finally managed a question that I haven't been able to track down the answer to in any FAQ or search: I'm wondering if anyone knows a source for the rubber trim/seal/extrusion that rides between my step bumper and the body. I'm getting ready to pull and POR15 my step bumper, and would like to replace the rubber while I'm at it. It seems to me that I saw a roll of this rubber seal in a catalogue or on a website in the past, but I've had no luck finding it lately. I did find a thread where fender welting was used, but if someone is still making the original profile, that would be preferable. Here's a picture for reference: Thanks in advance! |
