LT1 Corvette donor

Hi,
I've got a chance to buy a 94 C4 Corvette that had a fire and burned out the interior. It has the LT1 engine with an auto trans. The engine compartment was not harmed nor was the running gear, the fire dept arrived fast and put it out before the gas tank blew.
My question is: is this engine and trans worth using in my 65 pickup? It is the reverse flow heads and sequential injection. I know nothing other than carbs so would it be very hard to get a new wiring harness and PCM? The story is the heads are rebuilt and worked over and the engine is fairly fresh.
Thanks for any ideas,
Jon
