Window vent gasket installation

I rebuilt my window vent gaskets with new rivits and locks.
Here's a tip for those looking to do the gaskets install
The gasket that goes around the frame needs to be installed past a grove in the gasket and into the frame.
It's just about impossible dry. I used some dish soap around the frame first and it work fantastic. Take a paste brush and brush the dish soap inside the metal track and on edges. Gasket I'll go in very easily.
I first tried to apply the dish soap to the gasket itself and surprisingly it didn't work well
Just thought I would pass it along for the next guy.
I should have my restoration on the road in 3-4 weeks.
Can't wait!!!!!
