? about lowering rear axel
Hi Guys,
I've been fighting with installing my flip kit. I've had to drill out all the rivets on the rear shackle to attempt to get the leaf springs out. Cut the bolt for the front but can't get the leafs out...yet. I lowered the rear axel (the opposite side I'm working on has the u bolts still attached). I couldn't bring it down enough to get the leafs out yet - I'm thinking this is because the opposite side is still attached. My question is Should I have disconnected the drive shaft from the diff before lowering the axel/diff? I'd hate to screw anything up that will further delay this project. Thanks guys
