update!
got the exhaust on it. man does it sound sweet
runs so much better with pipes on it. its still really boggy accelorating though. i have to drop it down to 2nd gear to pass people on the highway. i checked the tranny fluid and it was to the fill line, so i filled it up, and now its at the full line i hope that helps some. if i hit the gas pretty hard from a stop it doesnt really bog down, but it takes a long time to accelorate and then it kicks in real quick, but it still goes slower than it should. i know most of that is my gearing(2.73's and my 2500 stall) i have a couple exhaust leaks from the header bolts being loose, so i'm gonna fix those as soon as the engine cools down some. it also is diesling a little bit, not like the runon with my electric fans hooked to the ignition fuse, but a real diesling. is my timing to far advanced? also, i borrowed a friends autometer sportscomp tach, but i cant get it to work with my msd stuff how in the world does it hook up? i know i have all the connections right, the green wire goes to the msd box, red wire goes to 12v switched source, white wire goes to power for the light, and the black is ground. |
