67-68 side molding on a 71-72?

I found this photo the other day.
I always favored 67-68 because of the polished side trim that's available for them. But even though this would upset a few folks. I thought this looked pretty good myself.

Obviously everyone respects the restorations that look like the car rolled of the showroom.
But... I also like creativity when the vehicle is no longer a candidate for a true restoration.

Anybody ever seen this before?
